Neal Sivie is part of the BSI executive leadership, technology, and compliance teams. Neal’s global experience and cross-functional, technical operations leadership has been a key resource in the development and optimization of our nex- gen technology platform.
Experience : Neal has 25 years of OT/IT engineering management experience in several industry verticals including semiconductor, telecom, retail, real estate, healthcare, and coworking industries.
Prior to joining BSI, Neal was part of Global Real Estate Systems & Solutions, where he was responsible for shepherding data and system integrations across building technologies, proactive operations, smart building & workplace strategy, global capital planning, and compliance.
Other work history and roles:
JLL, a global real-estate organization. Neal contributed to a wide spectrum of multi- functional roles including Advisory Services, Corporate Solutions Development (client proposals), Smoke Jumping, Smart Building Design, Corporate M&A, Technical Engineering, and even Account Director.
At JCPenney, a US based retail company, he led the ground up design, implementation, and sustainment operations for building automation and energy management programs. Scope and scale: Retail; $50M capital program; 900 mixed-use facilities across 110M GSF.
As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at MCI WorldCom, he was part of a technical facility and engineering team that provided compliance and governance oversight to all network operating centers (NOCs). Responsibilities included design/build standards, engineering review, building system commissioning, risk management, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling for high density cooling, SOP/MOP development for FM standards. Scope and scale: Telecom; 40 Data centers + network operating centers; 28M GSF.
